Designed especially for temperamental African violets, our bottom-watering African Violet Pots use a unique two-piece system. The inner pot is left half-glazed and fired at a lower temperature, allowing your plants to “drink” water from the outer pot. Hand-painted, botanically influenced designs match your violets, and solid glazes direct all of the attention to them. For more information on how to care for your African violets, check out our instructions here.

The photo isn’t the pot I purchased but I love them. The watering system works, flowers thrive & look comfy home artsy.
Packaging was very very effective with earth friendly materials.

Margaret –
I bought one of these over 10 years ago; beautiful, sturdy, quality. So when it came time for another pot, I searched until I found Emerson Creek Pottery again. I have the “blueberry”; however, I live in huckleberry country, so that is what I call it. Pretty, understated, perfect for showing off a bloom. Thank you Emerson Creek Pottery.

I love the pots and they do make the African violets thrive. I would like them even better if the insert is less wobbly.
