arf arf. The paw prints are a perfect touch and the bowl is a quality product with a great finish. Also as a bonus the bowl fits perfectly in the raised food stand. As a side note we bought a used Emerson bowl that is several years old and is in perfect condition with the finish in excellent condition - a tribute to the great quality Emerson makes.

ause I have happily owned another Emerson Creek Pottery lamp for many years. It is one of my favorite lamps. The new lamps are taller than the previous versions. The pottery appears glossier, the design covers a smaller area of the base and the shade is no longer textured. I was looking forward to adding this new lamp to my sunroom. Unfortunately, there was a problem. A standard sized bulb would not fit under the hoop. It seemed to me that there was an issue with how the lamp was assembled. I reached out to the company and had several email communications with a representative. I made measurements and sent photos to illustrate the problem. The representative assured me that there was no problem with the lamp, despite evidence to the contrary. She eventually offered me a few options but shipping the lamp back to the company for a return or exchange would be very inconvenient and risky. I solved the problem myself by doing an internet search for a small (appliance sized) bulb. It is the only bulb that would fit. My advice to customers is to be prepared to buy a smaller bulb.

r my cats, and bought them for my sister's cats. Her girl cat loves it so much, she won't eat out of any other bowl. The cat accidentally broke it this morning (which is why I'm ordering another) and she has been crying over her broken bowl!

this one was slightly defective (interior pot didn't nest properly.) Emerson was very proactive about getting us a replacement. My wife has been using their pots for years, and has been very successful in growing African Violets in them. The porosity of the interior pot allows in just the right amount of water.
